Hope you had a wonderful holiday! Here are a few favorite snaps from our Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. We are lucky enough to be enjoying some time off and catching up with family & friends.

A favorite Christmas Eve tradition- Brunch in my parent’s neighborhood with good friends & neighbors. Mike with our little friend Paul.

Christmas Eve dinner with my favorites. Cousins- Beto, Anni, Alma, Joaqo & Ari. Sister Dita, Brother Nando and Mike.

My mother’s poodle Rosie & niece Annabella posing waiting for Santa.

Cute cousins- Katie, Ellie, Sylvia, Arturo & Annabella.

Christmas day dogs- Baron, Rosie & Lia.

Yesterday we had our first ever photo session with our good friend Ben (he is one of Mike’s coworkers these days). Ben invited the other guys at the agency to come in for family photos. Mike and I were a little skeptical but decided it was something we should at least try. It ended up being a lot more fun than we thought it would be. Ben did a great job making us not feel like complete dorks and Baron even cooperated for the most part.
Happy holidays & look forward to sharing the final products later this season.

This weekend marked my third year of hosting a cookie exchange. Each year I invite friends and family to share baked goods and decorate gingerbread. It is always a good excuse to drink some hot chocolate with marshmallows, prepare hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks and get some quality time in with the ladies in my life. I was quite busy decorating cookies and socializing so I didn’t get many pics but sure decorated lots of gingerbread ladies and gents.

Also including a view from my couch of my little Christmas tree while watching the HBO show How To Make It In America.

Hope you have time to relax and enjoy your holiday traditions this year with your loved ones and treat yourself to some special sweets. Happy Holidays!

I just learned that Anthro is having a sale starting tomorrow through Saturday. 50% off all sweaters, jackets and outerwear. LOVE! How exciting. If there is anything I adore about Anthro it has to be their sweaters, they always look extremely cozy and wonderfully whimsical and are usually at least a couple hundred dollars.I will definitely be picking out a sweater or two for myself and maybe even snag a couple for the holidays! Here are a few favorites to get you started, happy holidays!

Paradoxical Sweater $64 after discount

Well Spotted Blazer $99 after discount

Penobscot Poncho $174 after discount

With Easter weekend approaching I am brainstorming some fun crafts to do for my family brunch. These doodled eggs via Alisa Burke are just the inspiration I need! Happy crafting!

Cookie party happened! As did christmas tree purchase (walk home) & decorating. Good pre-holiday weekend, can’t wait for this modified work week to FLY BY!

Back in August I bought myself a pair of boots and since then I have been on the hunt for tights. I shopped around all kinds of stores from Marshall’s and Target to Kate Spade and Nordstrom. The only pair I found that I loved were at Kate Spade and a little too much for my pocket book. Alas last week I ventured to Anthropologie where I thought I might find some goodies, and guess what, I was right! Not only did they have the best selection, by far, but they were also for the most part on sale. Between $4.95- $14.95 a pair. Happy holiday shopping!
