For the past few weeks I have been trying to come up with something to put into some frames in my dining area, I call it area because it doesn’t have enough walls to make it a room. I had transitioned my framed butterflies to the living room back in October when I got B’s portrait from my friend Kent. All in all the wall has been bare for a while and I have had the frames sitting on the floor waiting for some inspiration.
Saturday morning I was determined to make something happen and to get those frames up. I was always leaning towards something simple and easy that I could do on my own. After racking my brain for a few minutes I remembered this post from Kirsten of Restored Style. That was all the inspiration I needed. I quickly got to work and wrote down some of my favorite cities, then onto favorite parks and favorite places to eat. It was a simple and a fun exercise, I am very happy with the end result. I encourage you to try this out if you have an empty frame or a bare wall.
